Please check back here for a journal report describing “The Philosopher’s Stone” as a potential novel drug to end most any addiction and use in mental health services.
This novel arylcyclohexylamine found its way to me about fifteen years ago, and I have been researching it ever since. My article will contain some first-hand user reports and information about its safe use, harm reduction guidelines, benefits, side-effects and a general call to all researchers interested in this field of medicine. A call to continue where I left off. Unfortunately, in Canada, the compound has been patented by big pharma and swiftly placed into Schedule I a few years ago, meaning. It has no medicinal value and no further research may be conducted on it or any of its analogs, the arylcyclohexalamines. This was very disappointing to me as I know for a fact that there are many compounds in this class that have amazing benefits compared to the pharmaceutical line up of today. Compounds that would disrupt the pharmaceutical industry.
So, further work on this fascinating compound must continue on a special permit, or outside of Canada, where it is legal to research this class of medicinally beneficial compounds. An example of a benificial arylcyclohexylamine would be R,S-Ketamine, ranking number three on the WHO’s top essential medicines, Ketamine is a well-known tranquillizer and more recently found to be a potent, fast-acting antidepressant at sub-anesthetic doses.
